This TIC is also referred to as the mini-Taj Majal, due to its elaborate
design, layout and exotic colors. The TIC is critical to a positive
image and impression of the state of Texas to its visitors. The
landscape is manicured to perfection on a daily basis and the custodial
services performed keep this location looking as good as its first
day of induction.

extensive training.

sidewalk, and the helipad within the hospital perimeter and removes

and wash waste containers weekly. We also remove any oil or petroleum
substances on pavements.
Perform
snow and ice removal services by removing all snow and ice immediately
from entrance ways, stairs, walks, emergency room access route,
and helipad. When possible, remove snow accumulations before they
become hazards in these areas. As quickly as possible remove snow
from parking lots and other access roads while applying a minimal
amount of salt and sand on areas of accumulation to prevent icy
build-ups.
Perform soil testing once annually to determine the correct type
and kind of fertilizer to be applied to the grounds, trees and shrubs
by utilizing a certified soil testing agency and provides results
to the Contracting Officer. We apply fertilizers in accordance with
recommendations by a Certified Soil Testing Agency.
We
Develop Erosion Control Plans determining the priority of treatments
based on the established priority of grounds use and its susceptibility
to wind or water erosion. Focus on preventive erosion control procedures
instead of remedial measures. Protect any unpaved grounds in the
vicinity of the Hospital with a vegetative cover or other means
to prevent dust formation harmful to patients. Keep drainage areas
cleaned and free of debris, dirt, soil, and weeds.
Pruning
of trees and shrubs is accomplished under careful supervision and
by experienced personnel to remove all dead, broken, or diseased
wood and trimming to a natural shape in accordance with the requirements
of the particular species. Shrubs in parking areas are kept trimmed
