PCSI
was formed in June of 1996 for the purpose of providing employment
opportunities for people with disabilities through the performance
of State and Federal Contracts under the Texas State Use Program
(TIBH) and the Ability One, formally Javits-Wagner-O'Day (JWOD) program.

The
founding members of PCSI had in excess of 50 years experience
in performing service contracts for various State and Federal
Agencies. PCSIs' goal is to be the premier employer of people
with disabilities, the contractor of choice in markets we serve,
and the recognized leader in meeting the needs of individuals
overcoming barriers to employment. We recognized no boundaries
when it comes to making a job work.
PCSI operates as a business. We exist solely on revenues generated
from the services we provide. We do not solicit or count on grants,
State and Federal funding or subsidies to fund our operations.
We are a completely self-sufficient contractor much in the same
manner as a for profit business. PCSI prides itself on the quality
and performance of our service and the diverse employment opportunities
we provide for people with disabilities.
From
that humble beginning in 1996, with three employees, PCSI has
grown to over 40 Federal and State contracts, in five states,
employing over 900 employees with sales over $45 Million annually.
Our range of experience covers: Hospital Housekeeping, Full Facilities
Maintenance, Vehicle Operations and Maintenance, Grounds & Landscaping Maintenance, Janitorial
& Custodial Maintenance, Food Services, Mail Room Service,
Data Entry, Warehouse Operations,
and HVAC Filter Replacement.
