Mail
Room Services:
PCSI is experienced in mail room services,
which includes handling over 800 pieces of mail per day, with 90%
of that being apiece rated. The service provides daily pick up and
delivery of flats, boxed files, and letter envelopes to the post
office. We also handle any shipments via FedEx, UPS, or other ground/air
carrier.
We
provide all personnel, equipment, tools, vehicles, supervision,
and other items and services to provide mail delivery to business
offices and dormitories for Air Force personnel located at Fort
Hood, Texas. Our services include receiving, processing, distributing
and sorting mail, managing receptacles, keys and locks, and providing
customer services.
Receive
and pick up mail from the US Post Office. Check mail for any damage,
annotates date of receipt on parcels and receives mail from designated
small parcel delivery companies and authorized Government agencies.
Utilize
a vehicle to distribute general delivery mail to authorized Air
Force mail recipients located at Ft Hood TX (AFMC) and their agents.
Also deliver personal mail to the addressee or through individual
receptacles. Transport mail for delivery of the individual squadron's
mail. Deliver and place mail in government provided receptacles.
Give priority consideration for general delivery service for transients,
persons who are on temporary duty (TDY) for less than 30 days and
newly assigned personnel until a permanent resident address is established.
Secure and protect all general delivery mail at all times.
Distribute
the following categories of mail: Receptacle Size, Oversize, Voting
and Balloting, income Tax and mail for confined personnel.
Maintain
and accomplish Air Force forms pertinent to mail delivery services.
Maintain
a Key Control Program by establishing and implementing methods of
making sure all keys issued to by the Government are not lost, misplaced
or used by unauthorized persons and ensures all keys are secured
when not in use.
Immediately
report the occurrence of all suspected or known postal offenses
or losses to the government representative. Cooperate with all investigative
authorities in connection with all suspected postal offenses or
known losses identified by either the government or contractor.
