  • Joint Commissions for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) inspections with a score of 98% and zero findings in the housekeeping department
  • PCSI has also successfully passed three Command Logistics Review Team inspections (CLRT), and most recently, received special recognition for compliance and overall appearance of the facility
  • PCSI received special recognition by the Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine (CHPPM) inspectors from the Great Plains Medical Region in 2004

Facility Maintenance & Engineering

PCSI has the distinction of performing the very first Facilities Maintenance & Engineering contract ever done under the AbiltyOne Program. In 1997 PCSI started the Air Base Ground Defense Training Center contract at Camp Bullis, TX.

Services include:
  • Operations and maintenance of heating plants, chiller plants, emergency power plants, and uninterrupted power supply systems
  • Complete maintenance and repair of all utilities, fire alarm and suppression systems, elevators, and management systems like MMS & EMCS
  • Grounds maintenance, landscape improvement and snow removal operations
  • Infrastructure Maintenance including maintenance and repair of storm water sewer systems, water distribution and sanitary sewer systems, irrigation systems, natural gas and exterior electric distribution systems and traffic control devices and signs
  • Engineering Services include planning and execution of construction and modification projects, AutoCAD system output such as digital drawings, prints and schematics, Warranty program, Sub Contractor Contract management, and Environmental Protection program

Grounds Maintenance
PCSI provides grounds maintenance and landscaping services to state and federal sites. We provide supervision, personnel, supplies and equipment necessary to perform these services.

Services include:
  • Mowing services
  • Annual soil testing and fertilizer application as required
  • Blowing, edging, trimming, raking, cultivation, pruning, aeration and leaf removal
  • Operation of all equipment necessary to perform grounds maintenance such as lawn mowers, weed eaters, hand or power driven clippers or shears, as well as utilizing materials such as mulch, lime and fertilizers

Noteworthy Accomplishments:

In September 2005, PCSI was commended by the Orange Travel Information Center for the hard work, willingness and diligent efforts of their custodial workers. PCSI workers supported over 200,000 Hurricane Katrina evacuees by keeping the facility clean 24 hours a day during a continuous five-day period.

PCSI provides necessary management, supervision, personnel, supplies and equipment to perform contingency management, cooking and dining facility operations.

PCSI provides administrative support services for Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) PMO Crime Records and Police Administration Services. PCSI works in strict compliance IAW AR 5-9 policies and other applicable publications.

Services include:

  • Police administration, clerical, quality control and customer service
  • Preparation of accurate and timely Military Police Reports (MPRs)
  • Creation, editing and processing of military police and criminal investigation reports at a 100% quality control level
  • Processing of magistrate and traffic tickets, local file checks, weapons registrations and Crime Records Center (CRC) actions
 
Warehouse Operations
PCSI can provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform warehousing operations.

Services include:
  • The handling of all classes of supplies
  • Warehouse supply functions to include identifying, cataloging, receiving, storing, issuing, furniture distribution, limited packaging/crating, shipping of supplies, material, and equipment
  • Identification and storage of hazardous materials and radioactive supplies
  • Processing of all serviceable and unserviceable commodities following strict government redistribution and retrograde management procedures

Vehicle Operations & Maintenance

PCSI is ISO Certified in this line of business.
PCSI manages, operates, maintains, and repairs vehicles of all types including wheeled tactical vehicles, general and special purpose vehicles, Low Speed Vehicles (LSV), and Other Government Motor Vehicle Conveyances (OGMVC) using the NISH Fleet "Best Practices Model".

Services include:
  • Vehicle analysis for utilization, Taxi and U-Drive-It dispatches, bus routes and usage as well as requests for new vehicles
  • Oil Analysis for all vehicles
  • Manage vehicle control functions and the Registered Equipment Management System (REMS) function for all registered and serial numbered items for vehicles and equipment
  • Transportation for events up to 24 hours a day
  • Maintain automated management records and reports in OLVIMS IAW AFI 24-301
  • Investigation of reported vehicle misuse
  • Complete technical order library and SOP's for every function we perform to ensure compliance with all regulations and directives
  • Management of the GSA leased fleet of vehicles and is the point of contact for all GSA requirements
  • Conduct VCO and VCNCO training for all organizations on base

Mail Services
PCSI provides management, personnel, equipment, tools, vehicles and supervision pertaining to shipping and mail room services. PCSI has experience handling large volumes of mail every day, with 90% of that apiece rated.

Services include:
  • Receive, process, distribute and sort mail
  • Daily pickup and delivery of flats, boxed files, and letter envelopes to the post office
  • Process and handle shipments via FedEx, UPS, or other ground/air carrier
  • Managing receptacles, keys and locks, and providing customer services
  • Maintain a Key Control Program and ensure all keys are secured when not in use
  • Receive and pick up mail from the US Post Office and provide damage control
  • Distribute the following categories of mail: receptacle size, oversize, voting and balloting, income tax and mail for confined personnel
