PCSI
the Company
PCSI
has two primary customers: the Federal Government and the State
of Texas. As a nonprofit JWOD and TIBH company 100% of our business
is in the government arena. The main services that we provide are:
Hospital Housekeeping, Vehicle Operations and Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, Grounds Maintnance / Landscaping,
Janitorial / Custodial, Food Services, Mail Service, Data Entry, and Warehouse Operations.
Our primary geographic targeted area is within the South/Central
Region, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico,
Oklahoma and Texas, however we will go anywhere in the USA.
As the Federal Government and Military continue to downsize and
face increasing pressure in recruiting and retention we are very
confident that business will grow in services that we provide.
Since PCSI conception (1996) our annual rate of growth has been
20% annually. In 2000-2001, we grew 30% in sales. We have been in
a steady rate of growth both in our primary and secondary markets.
We continue to see growth in these areas with and estimated growth
of 15-25% in sales. Our strongest grow potential in
the near future is in the area of Vehicle Maintennace & General Custodial,
Warehouse Operations and Data Entry.
In the history of PCSI we have never been removed from a contract
due to poor performance. With rare exceptions we have chosen not
to continue certain contracts due to profitability or outside our
business model. We have maintained 100% of all our Federal contracts
since award, with 25% growing in size. This highlights one of the
primary advantages of JWOD the ability to continue with the contract
without being re-bid as in normal government procurement. We have
maintained over 75% of our State contracts since award. Numerous
of our state contracts have also grown since award.
JWOD and TIBH business do compete in the normal business world in
determining what option the buying activity (Federal or State Governments)
would like to pursue. The buying activity will compare JWOD or TIBH
to many other options to include small business, largest business,
low sealed bid, and full and open completion to include just a few.
The major competition for PCSI is in the selection of which JWOD
or TIBH business will receive the contract. Major factors in this
selection are: Past Performance, JWOD or TIBH program guideline,
Costs, Technical Capability and Customer Input. In these areas PCSI
excels as indicated by our continued grow. We tribute this to our
company working philology as a for-profit business and not a typical
nonprofit rehabilitation center.
